Excellent location and the best...
- What did you like most?Fabulous location for exploring Barcelona. A few minutes walk to Placa de Catalunya where you can get the tour buses from, Metro around the corner, right in the heart of the high end shopping district, a short walk to La Rambla, lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Spotlessly clean and cleaned throughout my stay. Very modern and everything I needed for a comfortable stay including complimentary toiletries and shoe shine. A nice little bar and lounge area downstairs which I appreciated at night being a lone female traveller. Staff very friendly. To be honest this was the best 3* I have stayed in and very good value for money.
- Was there anything you didn't like? The noise for me was the reason for a 7 and not a 10. I was on floor 4 with a balcony to the front and the noise of traffic until very late kept me awake even with ear plugs in. I only slept one night out of three and that was pure exhaustion. I would stay at this hotel again, but only if they could ensure I didn’t have a room with a balcony onto the Main Street. Coffee making facilities in the room would have been appreciated-I’ve never had any hotel with that facility. I didn’t think breakfast was good value and the pictures of it in the adverts were not representative of the actual selection on offer. There are lots of cafes around the hotel with better breakfast on offer at a cheaper price.
