Hotel Features
METT Barcelona is a five-star lifestyle hotel perched above the city, where the Mediterranean meets the mountains. Set in a landmark building with more than a century of history, it blends heritage and modern sophistication to create a sanctuary of laid-back luxury on Tibidabo Hill. Inside, 70 elegant rooms and suites are designed for effortless comfort. Soft Quivera linens, BOTANYC amenities, and indulgent bathrooms with both bathtub and shower invite guests to slow down and feel at home. Some rooms open onto private balconies, the perfect place to soak in skyline views that stretch from the city to the sea. From our panoramic terraces and gardens to the heated pools that overlook the Barcelona skyline and the Mediterranean, every vantage point is designed for awe. Wellness finds its expression at Valmont Spa. Guests drift between the stainless-steel pool, hot tub, and sauna, or recharge with a signature treatment. From a sunlit lounger to a mindful swim, every moment is shaped to balance relaxation and refinement. The hotel’s culinary spirit celebrates the flavors of Catalonia, Spain, and the Mediterranean. The signature restaurant sets the stage for vibrant dining, while two distinctive bars capture every mood, from poolside aperitifs to cocktails at sunset with Barcelona glittering below. Although it feels like a retreat above the city, the heartbeat of Barcelona is always within reach. A complimentary shuttle runs daily to Passeig de Gràcia, offering seamless access to the iconic boulevard before returning you to your hillside haven. For a weekend escape or a longer stay, METT Barcelona is more than a hotel. It is where heritage, lifestyle, and the spirit of the city come together.

- What did you like most?Everythings was amazing! Place style comfort
- Was there anything you didn't like?Beautiful views on the city, 7mins walk to tibidabo
Overpriced hotel with an insect problem and terrible room, service, food quality. Views are good but meaningless in comp
- What did you like most?I enjoyed the general interior design of the hotel, and the staff was fairly kind. I had asked them to prepare the room for somebody’s birthday(we were 3 people) and they gifted us with a underwhelmingly small cake and a bottle of champagne with 2 mini balloons attached to it. I asked to have the room decorated. unfortunately the cake was so small that the person didn’t even notice it on first glance when we arrived in the room. Was disappointed because I even proposed to pay for the room to be decorated and they said that they would do it for free. I didn’t know that that would mean that the surprise would then be minuscule and barely noticeable. Apple and peach crumble that I ordered was also very good, although almost criminally overpriced for its size.
- Was there anything you didn't like? While I always try to make fair reviews, I have to say that this was the worst hotel that I have stayed whilst in Barcelona. From the minute we got to our relatively small suite, we were greeted with a multitude of bugs that were right at the windows. We had read some reviews before that this place had problems with bugs due to it’s location, but I didn’t expect to have to kill over 10 bugs in the span of just two nights. I am used to staying at other five-star hotels and at such a price tag, usually snacks in the mini bar are free, as well as the water that is purposefully placed right on the bedside table. The pan con tomate that I ordered was terrible and not seasoned at all. You could also tell that the bread was stale and had been in the freezer prior to.
