Paid for a premium experience,...
- Was there anything you didn't like?I stayed at Hilton Culver City for 4 nights and had a mixed experience that fell short of expectations for a Hilton property. I specifically booked and paid for a “Premier Queen Room with Two Queen Beds – High Floor.” However, at check-in I was initially assigned a 2nd-floor room in a 12-story hotel, with the explanation that the hotel was full. Only after I stood my ground and pointed out that I had explicitly booked a high-floor room did the staff reluctantly move me to the 6th floor. While this was an improvement, it still did not align with what was originally booked. Guests should not have to argue at check-in to receive the room category they reserved and paid for. Another frustration was parking. The hotel offers valet-only parking at $50 per day, which is already expensive, but the service was consistently understaffed and overwhelmed. Almost every day, there were long waits both for vehicle drop-off and retrieval, which made coming and going unnecessarily stressful. Overall, the stay felt poorly managed for the price point. Clear communication, honoring booked room types without pushback, and adequate valet staffing would go a long way toward improving the guest experience.
