      Basic, clean, nice to be in a traditional Barcelona old house!

        Inexpensive, clean, lots of character . Close to Park Güell. Only 2 metro stops beyond main tourist area.

        Need to walk 3 blocks steep uphill

        Location was fine, of course walking uphill every single time is exhausting, but it is quite close to the metro station and to the centre. Staff was polite and kind but not very responsive. 24 hour breakfast is a great idea, but you won't have everything refreshed as quick as you expect.
      • Was there anything you didn't like?
        While booking, it was not that obvious that they offer shared bathroom. This is a hostel, and does not cost the money one pays for it. Not really sure where are the good reviews coming from, as this is too expensive for a hostel and does not match value/quality/. In comparison, I paid less and stayed in 4 star hotel in Milan just few days before my visit to Barcelona. The building is quite old, every single door is scrapping and making noise from any move.
